INDICATION

• Prevention of Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea : Cefjone LB 50 Dry Syrup is a combination of Cefixime 50 mg and Lactic Acid Bacillus. MECHANISM OF ACTION

• Cefixime : Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) and blocking the enzyme transpeptidase, which is essential for peptidoglycan cross-linking. This weakens the cell wall, leading to bacterial death. It has a broad spectrum of activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, making it effective for treating infections such as respiratory and urinary tract infections.

• Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 M.S : Lactic Acid Bacillus helps restore gut flora by introducing beneficial bacteria, which supports a healthy microbiome disrupted by illness or antibiotics.
